About Steven Silberg D.D.S.

Steven M Silberg DDS, MDT, a Meharry Alum and native New Yorker joined the Faculty at the Meharry College of Dentistry more than five years ago. Dr. Steven Silberg is a Restorative Dentist in the Oral Diagnostic Sciences & Research Department.

He is a graduate of the Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry Class of 1972.

Dr. Silberg completed his residency at the Beth Israel Mt. Sinai Hospital In NYC. Additionally, he joined the Faculty at NYU College of Dentistry in 1996 after completing a two-year program in Restorative and Full Mouth Rehabilitation from 1994-1996. In 2001, Dr. Silberg completed a Master’s in Dental Technology (MDT). Besides being full time at MMC/SOD he is Adjunct Faculty at NYU, currently in the Comprehensive Care Department.

Dr. Silberg has a passion for academics and is the honored recipient of the ACE Award given to those who are leaders in Life Long Learning given by the State of Tennessee.

Before joining Meharry, Dr. Silberg was in private practice in N.Y. for 42 years in Comprehensive Care and Excellence in Patient Care.

Dr. Silberg is a member of American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Dental Association, American Association of Master Dental Technicians and TN. Dental Association.
