About Stephanie McClure, M.D., FACP
Dr. Stephanie McClure is a geriatrician at Meharry Medical Group who specializes in the treatment of patients age 65 and older. She is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. She offers primary care and consultative care and treats conditions such as falls, incontinence, osteoporosis and other conditions that are common among seniors.
Dr. McClure graduated from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. She also completed her internal medicine residency at James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City where she later served as Chief Resident.
Dr. McClure became Admitting Officer at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee in 1990 and joined the faculty of the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in 1993 as Director of Ambulatory Medical Student Training. She joined the faculty at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo in 2005. She joined the faculty of Meharry Medical College in 2013 where she serves as Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
