About Shahana Choudhury M.D.

Dr. Shahana Choudhury is a pediatrician who provides services at the Meharry Clinic such as sick visits, school/sports physicals and immunizations. She is board-certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

Dr. Choudhury completed her pediatric residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

Her medical interests include global health and improving health care in low and middle-income countries. Dr. Choudhury enjoys working at Meharry because she has an opportunity see patients, train future doctors and perform clinical research.

She is the mother of three children.
