About Gwinnett Ladson M.D., FACOG

Dr. Gwinnett Ladson is an obstetrician and gynecologist at the Meharry Clinic who also serves as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Meharry Medical College. She offers services such as annual exams, pap smears, breast exams and family planning/preconception counseling.

Dr. Ladson is a professor at Meharry and she is also Chief of Obstetrics at Nashville General Hospital. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Tennessee State University in 1980 and her medical degree from Meharry in 1984. She also completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Meharry in 1988.

Dr. Ladson’s clinical interests are pre-term labor and polycystic ovaries.
