About Nicholas Norvell D.D.S., M.D.S., C.D.T.
A Nashville native, Dr. Nicholas Norvell is a dental specialist (prosthodontist), certified dental technician, and faculty member at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry.
Dr. Norvell earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in 2014. He then completed his prosthodontic residency training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry in 2017. During his residency, he completed and published research on the accuracy of denture fabrication methods earning him a Master of Dental Science (MDS) degree.
Dr. Norvell currently maintains a private practice in Mt. Juliet and lectures nationally to dentists, specialists, and technicians on topics such as digital dentistry, implant dentistry, and complex rehabilitative dentistry. He also serves as a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, and Journal of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Norvell has partnered with groups such as Compassion International, Hope Smiles, and Mission of Mercy to provide dental care to underserved communities locally, nationally, and internationally.
Dr. Norvell is an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, American College of Prosthodontics, American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, International Academy of Gnathology, International College of Oral Implantologists, International College of Prosthodontists, International Team for Implantology, Nashville Dental Society, Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics, and Tennessee Dental Association.
