qualifications in chart below) or employed in “Critical Infrastructure” Industries under Phases 2a and 2b

Meharry is administering the vaccine to patients in our Meharry Medical Group clinics and to community members who register.

People eligible now include those 55-plus and individuals 16-years-old and over with risk factors—in Phase 1c—including hypertension, asthma and diabetes. The vaccine is also available for those undergoing cancer treatment, recipients of organ transplants and those on the list below. Phase 1c also includes women who are pregnant and household contacts of pregnant women and household contacts of high-risk children under 16 years old.

The vaccine is also being offered to those employed in “Critical Infrastructure Industries” under Phases 2a and 2b including social services, commercial agriculture, corrections, public transit, freight, telecommunications and utilities—see the listing in the chart below for details.

The vaccines are safe and effective, and we urge you to protect yourselves, your families and your community by this one simple act. Remember, you must be 65 or older or qualify under the Phase 1c guidelines for this round of inoculations.
