About Karen Golden, R.N.
Karen Golden is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who sees patients at the Lloyd C. Elam Mental Health Center at Meharry Medical College. Golden provides initial primary care evaluations and follow-up primary care evaluations. She also manages the Center’s medication-assisted treatment (MAT) program.
Golden, a native of Tennessee, received her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Middle Tennessee State University in Nashville. In 2017, Karen received her board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. During her career, Golden has worked in various types of nursing discipline roles such as medical-surgical, post-op surgery, renal transplant, psychiatry and intensive critical care.
In her spare time, she enjoys baking, event planning, decorating and having fun with her family.
